The role of our committee, as the name suggests, is the Pastoral Care of all the Cowal Kirk members and the Social outreach to the community. We are involved with supporting Starter Packs Plus, for homeless people being rehoused; the Dunoon Food Bank and its provision for all in need; and as the only Priority Area charge in the Presbytery of Argyll we have a commitment to supporting children and families through our Christmas Appeal, dementia sufferers through our designated support person, and reaching out through guidance from the National Priority areas’ strategy. We are also committed to Mission locally, nationally and internationally through the Faith Impact forum, a huge, but challenging and rewarding undertaking;
