Giving to Support the work of the Church

You can donate to support the work of the Church in a variety of different ways.

Giving regularly is the best way for church members to support the church since it allows the church to budget more effectively.

Standing Order or Bank Transfer

You can give by standing order or bank transfer – neither incur a fee. Our Account details are :

Using the above details you can setup a Standing Order through your Bank, via Online Banking or your Mobile Banking App.

Alternatively you can download a Cowal-Kirk-Standing-Order-Form. Simply print it, complete it and submit it to your Bank.

Just Giving

You can donate to the Church either by giving a one off payment or by giving  regular monthly  contributions.  Either type of payment can be made via our Just Giving page which allows for simple and immediate online payments.

Just Giving allows churches, individuals and businesses to send and receive money online.

Just Giving offers a secure online service and, unlike other payment platforms, make no charge for payments to charities – but they will ask that you consider a voluntary contribution to support their platform’s upkeep in the form of a small % charge. This is however voluntary.

Weekly Payments

If you wish to give weekly, please ask for a supply of weekly offering envelopes which you can put in the offering plate when you come to church.  You can contact your elder or email our Administrator

Gift Aid

It is of great help to us if you Gift Aid your contribution. If you do so, the church is able to claim back from the government 25p for every £1 that you give to the church. In order to gift aid your donation you must be a UK taxpayer (income tax or capital gains tax) and have either filled in a gift aid declaration and returned it to our treasurer or opted for gift aid when making a Just Giving payment.

FaceBook and Easyfundraising

If you do on-line shopping, you can support fundraising for the Church. By using the link below you can sign in to support the Church. Easy Fundraising has over 8,000 retailers who will make a donation on your behalf when you shop with them. All the big names like Sainsbury’s, M&S, Argos, Just Eat and many more are ready to donate at no extra cost to you.
