Once again the Guild is organising a Shoebox Appeal through the Scottish Christian Charity, Blythswood Care. As before, the appeal is not restricted to the Guild but is open to all members and friends who wish to help the needy in Eastern Europe, including Ukraine.

There are 3 ways to do this:

1. FILL A SHOEBOX with appropriate item leaflets are available in each church building.
2. DONATE ITEMS FOR SHOEBOXES, these will be boxed by the Guild.
3. DONATE CASH – The Guild will purchase items and box them for you. (This is the most popular method.)

Whatever method you choose, please support this Appeal and give practical expression to Christ’s love for His people this Christmas. The APPEAL CLOSES at the end of October.

Leaflets are available in all Cowal Kirk churches. The closing date is 29 October and the local contacts are John and Pat Paterson.
