In partnership with Kirn Primary School a Kirn Café @ the Kirk group is starting on a Wednesday morning for parents to meet and socialise in a warm, safe place over the winter.  Many of these parents will have babies or young children and we would like to welcome them into our church and familiarise themselves with the church setting.  This group will be co-ordinated by Laura Mitchell of Kirn Primary which has 360 children in their school and nursery. Members of the congregation will be welcome to attend to chat to the parents and perhaps provide donations of home baking.

Once there is a core group of parents we would be looking to provide skill sessions where church members would share a skill they have such as crafts, baking, DIY, computer or wellbeing.

We are excited about welcoming young people from all over the area to this group.

The group will commence on 1 November 2023 at 10am in Cowal Kirk – Kirn & Sandbank Church.
