The Church of Scotland Guild is a movement which invites and encourages both women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action. With around 20,000 members, the Guild is one of Scotland’s largest voluntary organisation
The Cowal Kirk Guild is a union of The High Kirk and St. John’s Guilds and benefits from the merging of two vibrant and active groups.
Traditionally our Guild groups have both met on a Thursday afternoon between April and September each year.
The Cowal Kirk Guild emerged from Covid and the lockdowns with the theme for three years of “Look Forward in Faith”.
Our new theme is “let us build a house”.
There are six national projects looking for Guild support so we look forward to co-ordinating our speakers and meetings on these.
